The More Training, the More Willingness? A Positive Spillover Effect Analysis of Voluntary Behavior in Environmental Protection

Volunteers trained in environmental science are the backbone of protection. Therefore, it is necessary to study pro-environmental behaviors volunteers and guide them actively participate actions. Compared with other kind volunteers, have more expertise on premises, can this strengthen their willingness volunteer? Taking a group university alumni city H as an example (N = 2349), investigates potential mechanism positive spillover effect behavior. The sample showed phenomenon “the training, willingness”: degree which protection received education strengthened alumni’s participate. This paper uses theory planned behavior theoretical framework serial mediation model methodology investigate factors that affect volunteer services. identifies two paths from willingness: (1) profession → identity willingness; (2) pleasure willingness. It believed main intermediary variable participation sense gained receiving education. emphasize internalized into cognition transformed emotions, so promote volunteers.
